Move-In Volunteers Needed!

Come join us in rolling out the big blue carpet to welcome our new UK family!

We need volunteers who can give a warm welcome, help unload items from vehicles or check out/in carts.

The University of Kentucky's Move-In events on the following dates and times:

    Saturday, August 12 (Sorority/Early Move-In):    9:00 am - 4:00 pm
    Thursday, August 17 (LLP Move-In):    9:00 am - 4:00 pm
    Friday, August 18 (Freshmen/Returning Move-In):    9:00 am - 4:00 pm

Volunteers are needed for the following positions:

  • Unloader - unload student belongings from vehicles onto tables
  • Cart Station - assist with cart check out/in and physical handling of carts
  • Traffic Coordinator - greet students and families and explain move-in procedure

Once you have signed up, if you need to view your individual volunteer shift, please click here, for groups click here; these links will also be used to cancel shifts. To make changes or corrections use the cancellation link then go back to the home page and enter the new information.
